‘The Real Housewives of Dallas’ Recap: LeeAnne Locken Attacks Camera, Brandi Redmond’s Husband Is Late and Drunk

Stop rolling the cameras! On The Real Housewives of Dallas‘ Monday, May 9, episode, we saw the ladies try to pick the glass out of their hair and move on with their lives. But one husband appeared to end the episode in the doghouse (and no, “doghouse” isn’t a reference to a certain canine-themed hat from a previous episode).

LeeAnne Attacks a Camera With Her Purse, Walks Into Traffic Barefoot

Things started off with the tail end of LeeAnne Locken’s rampage from the last episode, right as she ran outside after throwing the champagne glass. Her best friend, Tiffany Hendra, chased after her, telling the former carny kid to “stop,” but was greeted with a middle finger.

After Tiffany persisted in following her, LeeAnne threw her hands up and said she was “done.” She then proceeded to smack one of the Bravo cameras with her purse, take her shoes off and walk into traffic. And to think, this all started because she thought a hat with fake poop on it was unbecoming!

Stephanie Gets a $75,000 Anniversary Present

After LeeAnne’s dramatic exit, we saw a crying Stephanie Hollman get comforted by her friends. Cary Deuber said, “I’ve never seen anyone behave like that … Although my two-year-old does throw things.”

The next day, Stephanie’s husband sat down with her and said, “LeeAnne is a person I really wouldn’t worry about too much.” He then chuckled to himself and whisked his wife away in his vintage Rolls Royce to celebrate their seventh wedding anniversary by buying her a $75,000 diamond bracelet. Stephanie’s going to be just fine.

LeeAnne Doesn’t Flush Stephanie’s Charity World Down the Toilet After All

The day after the champagne-throwing incident, some of the ladies congregated for a clothing drive to support HIV-positive women. This meant coming face-to-face with the one and only carny kid herself, LeeAnne. As soon as LeeAnne got there, one of the events’ organizers gleefully approached her to deliver some good news: “Stephanie Hollman gave couture … She is such a doll!”

LeeAnne, who emotionally ripped the couture-donating woman to shreds less than 24 hours prior, slapped on a queasy grin and robotically replied, “Good. I’m glad she came. That’s good.” Wait, we thought she threatened to flush Stephanie’s charity world down the toilet? This was her big chance to flush, and she missed it!

Later on in the event, Tiffany and Cary showed up, and both ignored LeeAnne completely. Cary privately confided to Tiffany that she was “still picking glass out my hair.”

Tiffany Will “Scalp You and Mr. Miyagi You”

Tiffany reached out to have lunch with LeeAnne and bury the hatchet. When LeeAnne walked into the restaurant, she immediately leaned on her best friend’s shoulder and said, “I’m really sorry, and I love you very, very much.” The two agreed their history was too strong for them to walk away from the bond they share.

LeeAnne apologized for her outburst, saying, “I was about to start crying, and there was no way I was gonna let that little bitch see me cry.” Tiffany apologized for yelling at LeeAnne, explaining, “I’m Japanese and Native American. I will scalp you and Mr. Miyagi you.”

Brandi’s Husband Shows Up Late and Drunk to Important Family Barbecue

This episode was a moving one for Brandi Redmond, and we got to see her tearfully welcome her estranged maternal grandfather into her life. Trouble started brewing, however, when Brandi’s husband, Brian, hadn’t shown up yet for the family barbecue — an important event to Brandi because it would be the first time her entire family had been under one roof. Brandi explained to guests that he was “flying in” and would show up as soon as he landed. Just then, Stephanie called her husband, Travis, who revealed that Brian was with him, having a drink after playing a round of golf. Uh-oh.

As soon as Brian showed up to the party, he ignored Brandi and walked away from her every time she approached him. An exasperated Brandi told the camera, “I planned this barbecue in between Brian’s business trips, so he could be here, but he’s late and drunk.” Stephanie, always the loyal best friend, told the camera, “Brian is very ignorant when it comes to the right thing to do in his marriage. This hurt Brandi very deeply. It was such a big moment in her life, and he didn’t take it seriously.” A sneak peek of next week’s episode revealed a clip of Brian walking away from Brandi and saying “I’m done” after she explained that she’s not getting enough attention from him. Yikes.

Tell Us: Was LeeAnne’s behavior justified or unforgivable? And should Brian take some husband lessons from Travis Hollman and make it up to Brandi for being late to the barbecue — perhaps with a $75,000 bracelet?

The Real Housewives of Dallas airs on Bravo Mondays at 10 p.m. ET.
