The tradition of never bothering a bride on her wedding day seems to be lost on Lydia Davis (Amber Valetta). [SPOILER ALERT] In Us Weekly‘s exclusive sneak peek clip for Revenge‘s Sunday, Dec. 15 mid-season finale, the newly-returned manipulative mistress pays Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp) a visit on the day she’s set to wed Daniel Grayson (Josh Bowman).
After rooting through her former lover Conrad Grayson’s (Henry Czerny) photo albums in last week’s episode, Lydia found the incriminating photograph of Ems when she catered a holiday party at the Graysons’ while undercover. In the clip, bad news blondie returns to Ms. Thorne’s beach house, which once belonged to Lydia herself, to threaten the Revenger into giving up her childhood home.
Though the property is filled with plenty of memories, Ems is under the impression that she’ll be done with her mission after Danny says “I do” and his mastermind mother, Victoria Grayson (Madeleine Stowe), takes the rap for the murder of Emily Thorne. So she agrees to give Lydia the house on the condition she won’t ruin her wedding day.
But if the flash-forward tease of Emily getting two bullets to the chest and stomach while in her white bridal gown are any indication, things won’t necessarily go off without a hitch.
Vicki already declared she was going to boycott the highly-anticipated nuptials in last week’s episode, but promos for this week’s mid-season finale show her sitting smugly in attendance as Ems and Danny exchange their vows.
