‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Recap: Yolanda Foster Prepares for Implant Surgery, Gives Kids Her Will

Are the sicknesses spreading? During the Tuesday, December 29, episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the ladies were quite surprised to hear Yolanda Foster reveal that two of her children have been dealing with Lyme disease for years. Meanwhile, Foster’s own health was her chief concern, as she prepared for surgery to remove her breast implants

Feathered Friend

There were health issues galore in the Bravo series’ episode, with Lisa Vanderpump and husband Ken Todd taking their sometimes-cranky swan Hanky (what, you don’t have a pet swan?) to the vet. Perhaps these were sympathy pains, and it was all Hanky’s way of showing his support for Foster? Regardless, Hanky luckily turned out to be OK, and he will live another day and get more chances to bite people’s fingers.

A Vending What?

Foster took her pal Erika Jayne to get to know Kyle Richards. Foster discussed her plans to go to Ohio to have her 20-year-old breast implants removed, because one of them was leaking, but Richards sounded skeptical. “This is a very extreme measure to go through in her quest to feel better,” Richards told the camera.

Richards and Vanderpump joined Eileen Davis on the set of The Young and the Restless, where Richards was quick to remind Vanderpump that she too was once on the show. (Yes, Kyle — we know.) While on the set, Vanderpump had what appeared to be her first encounter with a vending machine. “Push ‘H2’ for the tuna tartare,” Richards joked about her friend’s exquisite tastes.

Only as Old as You Feel

Foster later met up with the ladies to give more of them a chance to know Jayne. Jayne and Vanderpump didn’t get off to a great start at first, with Vanderpump informing Jayne that pink is ‘her color.’ Jayne later revealed that her husband is 77, which naturally led Vanderpump to ask about their sex life. (It’s apparently just fine, much to Vanderpump’s chagrin.)

Conversation turned to Taylor Armstrong‘s previous remarks questioning Foster’s illness, and both Vanderpump and Richards were surprised to hear that two of Foster’s children have also been battling Lyme disease for quite some time. Vanderpump was particularly curious as to why she never knew of this. Then Davis brought up the fact that Lisa Rinna had felt badly for doubting the seriousness of Foster’s health issues, but Richards worried that Davis was saying too much.

Preparing for the Unthinkable

Foster spent time with her children and her mother, and talked to them about the surgery she was about to have. She claimed that the procedure was nothing, but then she gave them a copy of her will, which led Gigi Hadid to wonder why her mom was acting somewhat carefree about this.

“My biggest worry is, ‘Oh, my god, what if I die — who is going to take care of my children?'” Foster told the camera, which suggested that her marriage with David Foster was on the rocks when the episode was filmed.
