RHOC Reunion Part 2 Recap: Briana Culberson Says “Scumbag” Brooks Ayers Hit on Her When She Was Pregnant

Well it’s about time!

The second part of The Real Housewives of Orange County reunion on Monday, Oct. 26 started off with some dirty talk, but not the kind you were hoping for. Shannon Beador went into further detail about her at-home colonic fiasco and Vicki Gunvalson still didn’t understand what a circle jerk was. (But apparently neither did the other women. Tamra Judge suggested that they have one right there on the couches.)

And because no episode would be complete without at least a mention of the Dubrow finances, Heather Dubrow reasoned that she didn’t think dropping $635,000 on kitchen cabinets in her new home was absurd because “everything’s relative.” Oh, Vicki also thought that a horse was “an animal,” not a mammal, and Andy Cohen offered to buy Heather’s two frozen embryos. Because why not? And last but not least, Gunvalson’s daughter leveled new, shocking allegations against Brooks Ayers. One Husband Down

Cardinals baseball enthusiast and St. Louis native Andy Cohen couldn’t stop fan-girling when Meghan King Edmonds’ husband, Jim, joined the women on the couch to discuss the couple’s marriage.

In addition to being in the room together, Meghan and Jim continued to shock viewers when they not only didn’t bicker, but actually agreed on something — gasp! Andy asked if being a baseball player’s wife was more challenging than being a RHOC cast member’s husband (because both sound so grueling). Meghan said that Jim’s job as a husband was harder because “this is our actual reality on television and baseball is just his job.” Jim chimed in with “a hundred percent,” and spent the rest of his time on camera sitting with his suit jacket fully buttoned. Just in case he didn’t look uncomfortable enough.

Jim denied telling Brooks Ayers that the first two months of their then four-month-long marriage “were difficult,” and then Vicki clarified, backtracked, or whatever you call it, her controversial statement at Tamra’s sex party.

“So I have to clarify. I misspoke on two months,” the OG of the OC said dryly. “I was retold again by Brooks that it was, ‘We had a couple of situations.’ I used ‘a couple of months’ inappropriately, so I apologize.”

But her “apology” was not accepted. Meghan (rightfully) accused Vicki of flat-out lying, to which Vicki replied, “I didn’t lie on purpose. I thought Brooks said two months. Two months, two weeks, two times, it was just misspoken.” Good save.

To be fair, however, Vicki wasn’t in the right frame of mind because she saw “Jim treating Meghan awkward.” Whatever that means. Jim remained unfazed by Vicki’s comments, saying, “If she’s just gonna pop off to pop off, then let her,” like a lost cast member on Bad Girls Club

Heather took a quick detour from the Edmonds’ relationship and mentioned another time that Vicki said something terrible. Because when she’s not “like Jesus being nailed to the cross,” Vicki likes to talk a lot of smack.

At Tamra’s sex party — where apparently almost every conflict this season took place — Vicki commented on the hostess’ outfit, which included a strap-on, and said to Heather, “No wonder they’re taking her kids away.”

Heather “was sick over that” and lashed out at Vicki, yelling and waving her index finger like there was no tomorrow. Tamra only cried a little and Vicki mumbled a “sorry about that” while facing the opposite direction.

“Other Girl” Talk

Andy shifted the conversation to another of this season’s hot-topic marriages: the Beadors. Shannon claimed that her husband David’s affair started the day after she began filming the show and she initially thought that he strayed because of production. “It didn’t even cross my mind that infidelity was a factor,” she said.

When one viewer thought that Shannon was selfish for talking about her husband’s affair on television and was just doing it to punish him, Mrs. Beador got a little feisty.

“No. So many people in Orange County knew about his affair, who the two people involved were, so either way this was going to come out,” she said. “After talking with our counselor, our church, talking multiple times with our kids, and having them talk to counselors, we thought that we could show that you can actually repair a marriage after going through something as horrendous as we went through.” Take note, parents: If you’re ever unsure about how much personal information to divulge to strangers, just ask your children.

Heather commended Shannon on her ability to forgive David and work on their marriage, but added, “Honestly, I would want to punish him a little bit.” Beware, Terry

Andy asked if David ever revealed the reason behind his cheating and Shannon blamed it on herself. “I was nagging and complaining, thinking I would get what I wanted, and I realized that I can’t,” she said.

“That’s bullsh-t,” Heather interjected, which prompted a chorus of similar sassy sentiments from the other women. “You fix it or you leave. You don’t cheat,” she added.

But Shannon continued to dig herself deeper into a very confusing hole. “My husband was working and he was unavailable,” she explained. “We went out to dinner maybe once or twice a year and that was it. I wanted to be connected to him.” Glad we cleared that all up.

Shannon can now “go weeks without even thinking about [the affair]” and even saw David’s mistress at an event and bragged about not attacking her. Now that’s progress. (Still, Shannon and said mistress had a very public and apparently nasty confrontation just a few days ago!)

Briana vs. Brooks, Round 341

The RHOC voice of reason, Briana, took a break from “horrible” Oklahoma to join her mom on the couch and discuss their favorite topic: Brooks. And things got heated.

Vicki said that she got dumped by Brooks while vacationing in Miami, but didn’t appear too upset despite their four-year-long relationship. The couple apparently knew that the breakup was inevitable because they had “too many issues to make it a life mate.” Vicki claimed that her first priority was always her daughter, despite vehemently defending Brooks and calling Briana “a sh-t stirrer” in the season finale.

“Brooks would do something terrible and my mom was in a different room and I would think to myself, God, do I even say anything because she’s not going to believe me. She’s going to tell me that I’m a liar,” Briana said. “She’s gonna ask him and he’s gonna lie to her.”

Andy then asked for an example, and boy, did he get a whopper.

“He hit on me when I was pregnant at her birthday party,” Briana revealed. Supposedly Brooks approached his girlfriend’s very pregnant daughter and offered to show her his “ween ween” because it was “really big and his nickname was Girth Brooks.”

“She told me that I was a liar and said that he would never want me,” she said about her mother’s reaction. Instead of asking if the claim was true (or hiring Meghan to launch one of her famous investigations), Vicki “didn’t want to even believe that it was truth” and just bashed her daughter.

Brooks may have broken up with Vicki, but he’s still very much a part of the OC. When he’s not communicating with his ex — she confessed that the last time they had spoken was the day before filming the reunion — or threatening to sue Meghan, Briana, and the other women, Brooks is a super busy guy.

Brooks conveniently couldn’t make it to the reunion taping with the rest of the Housewives because of a “scheduling conflict with work,” and filmed a special one-on-one interview with Andy in the Watch What Happens Live Clubhouse two weeks before.

Vicki’s ex said that he didn’t blame the show for his breakup and instead sited the other women, Briana, and the subsequent “constant conflict.”

When Andy asked Brooks if Briana’s claim that nobody in her family like him was true, he immediately said that it was a lie and started rattling off the names of random family members to prove it. He claimed her motivation to lie about him was “hearsay” and “manipulation,” and added that Briana was financially dependent on her mother. And that’s when she lost it.

“F-ck this guy. I’m f-cking done,” Briana snapped while footage of the interview played. “This guy is a filthy piece of sh-t. Scumbag.” And that’s why she’s our favorite!

Watch the rest of Brooks’ interview (or lying insult fest) on the final installment of the RHOC reunion. The women will also finally discuss the cancer-faking drama and yell at each other a lot, so it looks like it’s business as usual next week.
