They're baaaack! Bravo announced on Monday, February 8, that The Real Housewives of New Jersey is set to return for season 7. Fresh out of prison, Teresa Giudice will be joined by her sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, and former friend Jacqueline Laurita for the next chapter.
"I am very excited to be back," Giudice, 43, told Bravo's The Daily Dish. "For me, this season is all about letting go of the past and embracing the future. People are calling me Teresa 2.0."
As previously reported, Giudice served 11 months behind bars at the Danbury Federal Correctional Institution for fraud charges. She was released on December 23 and ended her house arrest last Friday. Since returning home, Giudice has been spending time with Gorga — who's also excited about the future.
"We're back! This season for me is all about family, fun, friendships and fashion," the mom of three, 36, said in a statement. "I can't wait for you to see what we've been up to and how much our kids have grown."
Laurita, meanwhile, is hoping to bond more with Giudice. The RHONJ vet — who left after season 5 — says that she's "looking forward to new beginnings" this time around. "Sometimes a little break is all I need to jump back in and bring my best!" Laurita, 45, told The Daily Dish.
Us confirmed in August 2014 that former cast member Caroline Manzo's sister-in-law Laurita was making a triumphant return. "Teresa reached out to Jacqueline, but Jacqueline didn’t think it was genuine. Then they all taped a scene together, hashed everything out and made up," a source exclusively told Us last month.
RHONJ season 7 will premiere later this year. Fans last saw drama unfold when season 6 ended in November 2014. It's not confirmed whether or not Dina Manzo and twins Teresa Aprea and Nicole Napolitano will return. Amber Marchese announced her departure in November 2015.
