Only a few weeks into filming season 16 of The Real Housewives of New York City, Sai De Silva is confident fans are going to like what they see.
“I think that people are going to be pleasantly surprised. There’s a ton of personal story,” Sai, 45, exclusively shared with Us Weekly while attending the New York City Ballet 2026 Spring Gala on Thursday, May 7. “I think there are layers that people haven’t seen before, and you’re really going to get to understand us.”
Back in March, Bravo confirmed that Sai, Erin Lichy and Jessel Taank will be joined by newcomers Hailey Glassman, Erika Hammond and Daisy Toye for season 16. Carole Radziwill is also slated to make her return as a “friend of” the cast.
“[There are] friendships that have gotten a lot stronger over the years — Jessel, me, Erin. I think you’re going to see us in a different light,” Sai teased while wearing a TEMILY dress. “And, you know what? It’s funny. We’re kind of going to bring back some of the old RHONY again, and we’re going to show a lot of New York City, and we’ll have a lot of fun.”
That fun may also include a cameo from Martha Stewart. Earlier this month, Deuxmoi spotted the lifestyle expert — who is close friends with new cast member Daisy — filming with members of The Real Housewives of New York City.
While Sai tried to stay mum, the reality confirmed Martha’s great. As she teased, “I think we might be seeing her, allegedly.”
“The new girls are playing ball. I think they’re really great,” Sai added. “They add a lot of the humor to our group already, and they add a touch of glamour.”
Cameras didn’t appear to be rolling when Sai and her daughter, London, stepped out for Thursday’s star-studded gala at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center.
The annual event raised $3.2 million to support New York City Ballet’s mission of preserving its extensive repertory, creating new and innovative works and making ballet accessible to all through education programs and online activities.
While Sai’s schedule continues to be booked and busy, the Big Apple resident promised fans that she’s just getting started in 2026.
“I’m definitely launching a product this September, so stay tuned with that,” Sai teased. “It is going to be delicious, and I’m so excited for everyone to see that. There’s going to be tons of things that I am doing, and I would love for everyone to stay tuned.”
The Real Housewives of New York City is streaming now on Peacock. A premiere date for season 16 has yet to be announced by Bravo.
