Bohemian or rustic? Maddie Brown, daughter of Kody Brown and second wife Janelle Brown, has a tough wedding decision to make on Sister Wives’ Sunday, December 4, episode, as seen in Us Weekly‘s exclusive sneak peek.
The TLC series’ preview clip shows Maddie’s fiancé, Caleb Brush, reacting to her father stepping out in all camouflage as a possible wedding ensemble. “I’m glad they finally wore the camo. I think they did it to impress me and get a reaction out of me — which I loved,” Brush explains.
He continues to the cameras, “I mean, I was kind of hoping that they are going to wear that for the wedding. They looked amazing.”
Moments later, Kody, 48, changes into his actual wedding attire, and Maddie, 21, describes it as “country-western.” But Kody argues, “This isn’t country. This is John Denver, and John Denver — even though he said he was country — he wasn’t country. He was bohemian.”
Maddie concurs, “That’s what it looks like. And the fact that browns don’t match.”
Kody is still flustered and tells the camera, “Every time I think about this wedding and the bohemian theme, I keep thinking John Denver. It’s hard for me to get the whole country aspect out of the bohemian.”
Christine points out to the other wives, “I have no idea what bohemian means still. Maddie finally sent us a text that said, ‘Cotton. Cotton and lace. Cotton-lace.’ That’s it.”
