One too many cocktails? Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi admitted to Access Hollywood that she got overly inebriated during her appearance on Kocktails With Khloé earlier this month, which apparently caused her to invent a few family members.
The entertainment news show's Scott Evans asked the Jersey Shore alum, who is adopted, to explain her comments to Khloé Kardashian about reaching out to her birth parents. She replied by telling Evans that she has never actually tried to contact them.
"I was wasted," Polizzi said of her February 3 Kocktails episode. "Literally, the drinks that she gives you are, like, hard-core drinks, and I had three, and I blacked out. So when I watch the episode, I'm like, 'Oh, my God — I don't remember this. I'm slurring my words.' It's like, 'You're so embarrassing.' So I don't remember that whole interview."
Kocktails With Khloé features Kardashian drinking and playing games with celebrity guests, with each episode including a custom-crafted alcoholic beverage of the night.
Polizzi told Access Hollywood that she has indeed been interested in seeing what her biological family looks like but that she hasn't gone beyond asking her adoptive dad to explain why he thinks they gave her up.
"I never reached out — I don't know what I was talking about there," she said. "I knew what I was talking about, but I exaggerated. I was like, 'I had 10 brothers and sisters.' [Now I'm] like, 'What are you talking about? It's only like one or two.' So I exaggerated times 10."
Kocktails With Khloé airs on FYI on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. EST.
