Stassi Schroeder Addresses Explosive ‘House of Stassi’ Scene With Husband Beau: ‘The F**king Worst’ (Exclusive)

Stassi Schroeder candidly addressed the infamous moment between her and husband Beau Clark from House of Stassi.

While speaking to Us at the Women in Film Honors event on Thursday, November 5, Schroeder, 38, discussed her Hulu show ending its first season with her and Clark, 46, at odds, saying, “It was the f***ing worst, wasn’t it?”

Schroeder wasn’t expecting things to play out the way they did on screen.

“When we were working on the show for years, I never in my life could have imagined that that’s how the finale would end,” she told Us. “So it did feel like, ‘Oh, wow, all your hard work just blew up in your face.'”

The reality star called the moment that led to her sobbing alone on a boat “unfortunate,” adding, “That sucked.” Schroeder pointed out that the scene has since caused viewers to become concerned about her and Clark.

“When we did watch it back — and we just saw everyone talk about it — it’s like every time someone came up to us and was like, ‘We love House of Stassi,’ we’re like, ‘We’re not getting a divorce. We’re good,'” Schroeder said. “That’s, like, all we can say back to people because we’re just assuming that that’s what people have seen.”

Clark also had some regrets about how the conversation with his wife played out.

“It made him aware of just one comment that he could make that turned into something else. He’s like, ‘I never meant it to be that.’ And then I also learned about myself, like, ‘Oh, wow, you don’t have to have that insane reaction to your husband saying something,'” she continued. “You can try to sit and listen and understand before you start seeing red and going straight to anger. We both learned a lot about how we deal with each other just by living that and watching it back.”

House of Stassi, which is streaming now on Hulu, offered a candid glimpse at Schroeder’s life after Vanderpump Rules as she attempted to balance her personal and professional duties while Clark navigated his role as a stay-at-home dad.

The couple held nothing back, which executive producers David Marker and Renata Lombardo later praised them for, telling Us in August, “There’s a handful of scenes that really stand out, but I think at the beginning of this journey, Stassi said to us, ‘I’m going to bleed out for this show.’ She knew she had to go there. If she wasn’t going to deliver at that level, the audience was not going to accept.”

Lombardo confirmed that Schroeder wanted to be as transparent as possible.

“I know if I had a fight with my husband and it was captured on TV, [it wouldn’t feel good]. But she went there because that’s what was happening in their life at that moment,” she continued. “It’s visceral and raw and almost uncomfortable to look at at times. But that’s what we love about the show is people are going to feel like we’re doing fourth wall breaks and we’re acknowledging the show within the show — because the audience is too savvy not to.”

House of Stassi is streaming now on Hulu.
