Don’t try this at home! (But you will definitely want to.) In the Tuesday, October 4, episode of TLC’s Sweet 15: Quinceañera, we’ll meet some unexpected guest stars who will likely steal the spotlight from the birthday girl, Lizi, as seen in Us Weekly’s exclusive sneak peek — two baby tigers.
Party planner and tiger procurer Alexis tracked down the tiny cats to make Lizi’s dream of having an extravagant photo shoot with baby tigers come true. Upon first look at the animals pouncing and prancing around the lawn, the birthday princess yells, “They’re so cute! I love them!” (Same.)
To make matters even more precious, the 5-week-old tigers are named Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm, à la classic cartoon The Flintstones. These poor babes were abandoned by their mother (and father, we guess), but luckily the Wildlife Preserve outside of Miami has been able to nurse them back to health.
After the animal handler on site explains to Lizi how to properly hold the exotic animals (safety first), a seemingly trepidatious Lizi admits to the camera, “I was nervous to handle them, like I was scared I was going to drop them.”
With good reason, as evidenced in the clip: While sitting on a rock and having her photos snapped, the baby tiger in Lizi’s hand gets restless and lets out a valiant attempt at a ferocious growl. Aww!
