Teen Mom 2’s Barbara Evans Cries Over Jenelle and David’s Relationship: ‘I Think He’s Hurting Her’

And the drama continues! Jenelle Evans refused to film with MTV on the Monday, February 11, episode of Teen Mom 2 because husband David Eason still can’t be involved in the show, and it seemed like things have only gotten worse between them since her infamous 911 call earlier this season.

Following the police showing up to Jenelle’s house, her relationship with mom Barbara Evans was on the rocks again, especially when it came to their shared custody of her son Jace. Suddenly, Jenelle was upset that Barbara wouldn’t give her full custody of Jace again, even though they’d been getting along.

“She’s mad because David was fired from MTV,” Barbara said. “Why are you blaming the whole world for that? It’s nobody’s fault but his own. I think it’s the call, and now people are calling her out on it and people are saying what happened and she doesn’t know how to turn that around.”

Although David wasn’t allowed to film, they both showed up to Jace’s soccer game — and that meant that MTV had to shut down filming for the day – that led that Jenelle getting angry enough that she refused to film anything else.

“YOU ARE RUINING MY F–CKING LIFE. Stay out of it,” Jenelle texted the producers, adding. “Talk to my lawyer. I’m done talking to you.”

Talking to security guard Andre, Barbara said that she felt like Jenelle didn’t want to film because David picks a fight with her every time she does. Her mom then broke down in tears and admitted she was “very worried” about her daughter. “I think he’s hurting her. I can see it. It’s a domestic violence thing, and he’s keeping her like a prisoner,” Barbara said. “She can’t even leave her house.”

Leah’s Flood

After staying a weekend at boyfriend Jason Jordan’s house, Leah Messer came home to discover that her house was flooded, damaging her basement, floors, and even her furnace and air ducts. That meant that Ali and Aleeah went to stay with dad Corey Simms, and Addie had to go sleep at Leah’s sister’s house. Fortunately, they still had all of their belongings, but the house required some significant repairs.

Luckily, Jason was there to help her out with it, and she told her sister that this relationship just felt like such a change from the ones she’d been in in the past.

“He’s way more mature than past relationships than I’ve been in, and so am I,” she said. “I’ve grown in a lot of ways, so the dynamic of our relationship, the relationship in general, it’s just different. Things are going great right now. I look forward to seeing where our relationship is gonna go.”

Welcoming Baby Layne

Nearing the end of her pregnancy, Chelsea Houska was ready to give birth any day, and the longer she went, the more miserable she was becoming. But the night before her birthday, Chelsea woke up in the middle of the night with contractions, and it was go time. In fact, by the time they got in the car, her contractions were already just three minutes apart.

Hours later, Layne was born, meaning that she and Chelsea officially share a birthday.

“Oh my god, I’ve got two girlies with the same birthday,” Cole said. “This is your gift. It’s a good gift.”
