But with all of the mass food intake and partying that came with the holidays, the New Year, and awards season, it’s easy to forget where your favorite doctors, Gladiators, and law students left off. Us Weekly is here to give you that refresher (and to teach you Hoooow to Get Awayyyy With Muuuurrrrdeerrrr):

Grey's Anatomy
Dr. Herman (Geena Davis) will be grappling with a terminal brain tumor that only Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) knows about when Grey’s Anatomy returns on ABC.

Grey’s Anatomy

Poor Dr. Herman (Geena Davis) is in deep! The head of fetal surgery at the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital just found out she has a terminal brain tumor and only has six months to live. Only one other person knows — Arizona Robbins (Jessica Capshaw), and she’s chomping at the bit to tell someone for the safety of the patients. Unfortunately, if she does, her fellowship will disappear.

Meanwhile, April Kepner (Sarah Drew) is enduring serious struggles with her pregnancy. During an ultrasound, Stephanie Edwards (Jerrika Hinton) detects a potential life-threatening birth defect in the little one, and we still don’t know her baby-to-be’s fate.

Last, but never least, Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey) and Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) are having some marriage struggles revolving around his job offer at the White House. Though Dr. McDreamy may have turned down the position, he still desperately wants it.

Scandal
Jake Ballard (Scott Foley) will be on the hunt for Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) when Scandal returns on ABC.

Scandal

CALLING ALL GLADIATORS! Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) has been kidnapped, and you’d better hope Pope & Associates is on the case. When we last saw our favorite fixer, she was preparing for some piano-top sexy time with her hunky beau Jake Ballard (Scott Foley). Naturally, Jake went into the bedroom for some pillows and blankets and came out to find a horrific red wine stain on the couch and an empty apartment. We know the pantsuit-wearing boss has been kidnapped by people working for the nefarious Vice President Andrew Nichols (Jon Tenney) and the Chairwoman of the Republican National Committee Elizabeth North (Portia de Rossi). Now that Lover-in-Chief Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) knows, will to take American troops to war simply to get back the woman he loves?

Plus, Cyrus Beene (Jeff Perry) is planning his damage-control wedding to his hooker boy toy Michael (Matthew Del Negro) after their raunchy bedroom antics were made public. With all their publicity, we have a feeling that a painful TLC show is in their future.

And while Olivia might be missing, she’s no. 1 on Papa Rowan Pope’s (Joe Morton) hit list. She pointed a gun at her father in the winter finale and pulled the trigger. Even though there weren’t any bullets, the damage was done. He’s no longer protecting her, so kidnappers or not, she (and her extensive collection of earth-toned outfits) are in deep trouble.

How To Get Away With Murder
Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) and Wes Gibbons (Alfred Enoch) are working together when How to Get Away With Murder returns on ABC.

How to Get Away With Murder

They haven’t gotten away with murder yet! In the winter finale of ABC’s most addictive new series, we learned that Wes Gibbons (Alfred Enoch) is the actual murderer of Sam Keating (Tom Verica). He bashed Sam’s head in with the trophy when Sam tried to strangle Wes’ girlfriend Rebecca Sutter (Katie Findlay). But twist of twists, Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) knows exactly who did it, and what’s even better is, she’s on Wes’ side — for the time being. Now Keating’s favorite students have to answer some police questions and keep Rebecca from spilling the beans long enough to make it to the next year of law school.

And as if that wasn’t enough, Asher (Matt McGorry) and Bonnie (Liza Weil) had a sexy hook up, and it wasn’t even her first of the night!
