The Bachelor’s Women Tell All Special: Sarah Herron Breaks Down in Tears

Sarah Herron thought she’d be living happily ever after with Sean Lowe. The 26-year-old Advertising Executive opens up on the upcoming Bachelor: The Women Tell All special about how surprised she was when 29-year-old Lowe sent her home.

“I put that wall down for him. He had seen me in a more vulnerable state than I think I’ve ever let anybody see me,” she says with tears in her eyes. “I’ve cried and talked about things with him that I don’t talk to with my best friends about. I thought we had something else.”

“You thought you had forever with him,” host Chris Harrison said. “You thought he was the one.”

“For sure, yeah,” Herron agrees. “It’s the worst to be told you’re great, but you’re not good enough for me.”

In the first episode of the season, the Colorado native talked with Lowe about how she was born with one arm. “I’m very open to talking about it and I don’t want to be perceived as disabled,” she said. “I might be a little bit different, unique, but at the end of the day I have the same heart and I just don’t want you to feel uncomfortable, and I just want to clear the air.”

Lowe blindsided Herron in episode six when he sent her packing. “I felt like we were reaching,” he said. “I don’t know if you felt it or not, but . . . it hasn’t been there.”

“I just don’t want to be told forever how great I am, what I deserve,” Herron said while wiping away tears as she departed. “I just don’t want to be told that forever. And it’s just sad to think about, like, how did Sean see it and feel it in the beginning?”
