‘The Bachelor’ Alum Sharleen Joynt Reacts to ‘Women Tell All’: Olivia Caridi Is ‘Very Resilient’

There were claws, there were tears and, for some, there was closure. Bachelor season 18 alum Sharleen Joynt and Bachelor in Paradise and Bachelorette season 9 alum Michael Garofola sat down with Us Weekly Video and dished on the Monday, March 7, Bachelor special, Women Tell All, during which season 20’s castoffs held nothing back while confronting Ben Higgins — and each other.

Put in the hot seat, resident villain Olivia Caridi tried to make amends for her actions on the show. (Refresher: She once compared single mother Amanda Stanton’s life to an episode of Teen Mom.) The news anchor, who went home during a two-on-one date in the February 9 episode, admitted to Bachelor host Chris Harrison that there were times this season when she “hated watching” herself.

That said, the 23-year-old also called out her fellow contestants for picking on her body and making fun of her breath. “It sucks,” she said.

But pal Joynt — once the frontrunner for Juan Pablo Galavis’ heart — told Us Weekly Video that Caridi is tougher than she appears. “She’s very resilient,” the opera singer, who blogs about the show on her site (alltheprettypandas.com), said to Us. “No one is really their best self on the show, it brings out your insecurities.”

Plus, was Jubilee Sharpe’s apology sincere? Is Caila Quinn ready to move on? And did Higgins really mean to say “I love you” to two girls? Joynt, 31, and Garofola, 35, help Us break down the drama.
