The former WWE wrestler is definitely in a good mood these days, as he and his girlfriend, Lauren Hashian, welcomed their first child together — a baby girl — on Wednesday, December 16.
On Saturday, December 12, Hashian, 31, joked on Instagram that she hoped their bundle of joy wouldn’t weigh 20 pounds.
“So grateful and in awe of this time,” the singer captioned a sweet snap of the couple. “To experience creating a little life is just incredible. This beautiful cycle of life and womanhood beginning again. And like Big Daddy says, couldn’t be prouder of all the kickass women she’s going to have around her! The Rock — who has a 14-year-old daughter, Simone, with ex-wife Dany Garcia — opened up in April about the joys of fatherhood and bonding with the late Paul Walker while filming Fast Five.
“We had both been in the business at that time for over a decade, and the most important thing we had in common was the importance of family time and being a great father to our daughters,” he told Entertainment Weekly. “We bonded over that.”
