Tyler Cameron is already getting some expert advice from his Dancing With the Stars family about becoming a first-time dad.

“Sharna [Burgess] has been amazing with her advice,” Cameron, 33, exclusively told Us after Dedication Night on Tuesday, October 20, revealing his DWTS partner, who shares 4-year-old son Zane with Brian Austin Green, has been “taking care” of his fiancée, Tate Madden, during her pregnancy. “Because I don’t know what I’m doing, and I’m learning every day, and there’s a lot of things going on, and she’s been such a great resource for that.”

Cameron has also turned to fellow girl dad Pasha Pashkov, who shares daughter Nikita, 3, with pro Daniella Karagach.

“I asked Pasha, I was like, ‘Pasha, what do I do now?'” Cameron joked. “He’s like, ‘Just let it be. It’ll all come to you, and don’t stress.’ Like, ‘It’s gonna be amazing.’ I was like, ‘OK, I’ll still call you.’ … There’s so many amazing girl dads here.”

Cameron and Madden, 33, performed a thoughtful contemporary dance alongside Burgess, 41, on Tuesday dedicated to mothers everywhere. The Bachelorette alum read an emotional letter in a voiceover to his late mother, Andrea, revealing he and Madden are expecting their first baby.

“You would’ve loved the woman I’m gonna marry,” Cameron said. “All the things that made you special, I found in her. She’s gonna be the most incredible mama, just like you. And we’re gonna have a baby. I can’t believe I’m gonna be a dad. Wish you were here, hope that I make you proud. I love you and I miss you every day.”

Madden went on to unveil her baby bump as the pair finished their routine. Before Cameron received his score — 32 out of 40 points — cohost Alfonso Ribeiro helped announce the sex of the couple’s baby, with pink confetti filling the ballroom.

“I just wanted him to get to this week,” Madden told Us. “I knew it was so important to him. I know that this was his goal, and just to be able to be here to have it happen and happen in the way that it did — to have Sharna create this piece for us that was just such a beautiful way to tell the story — I’m just very grateful. I just, I can’t believe that this is the way that we were able to tell the world and, on top of it, find out that we’re having a baby girl.”

Cameron’s daughter will be “the first girl” of his family — and he couldn’t be more excited.

“This is gonna be a wild one,” he gushed. “I just can’t wait to love on her and spoil her and have secret handshakes that Tate doesn’t know that we have.”

As for how the pair will approach parenting, Madden already sees Cameron being more lenient. “I envision Tyler telling her she can do literally no wrong, and then me being the bad parent,” she joked.

The couple got engaged in August, shortly before Cameron’s DWTS journey began. Madden reflected on keeping the “big secret” from most of the other contestants and pros before Tuesday night’s reveal.

“Obviously, close family and friends knew, but really no one else, and especially this past month, I think I just started to show more,” she told Us. “And, you know, there’s only so many giant T-shirts that I can wear before people start asking questions because that’s normally not my attire. So it definitely was getting more difficult toward the end, but I would do it a million times over again to have this moment.”

While Cameron focuses on another week of competition — there was no elimination at the end of Dedication Night — he has something even bigger to look forward to at home.

“We get to go start the next best part of our lives now, and I think everything coming in front of us is going to be the greatest things we ever get to do,” he said. “The life I’ve gotten to live up to this point has been great, but nothing has been more exciting for what the future has for us. So it’s just going to be better and better.”

Dancing With the Stars airs on ABC and Disney+ Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
