Girl power! Victoria Beckham is bowing down to Adele‘s amazing Spice Girls Carpool Karaoke session. The “Hello” singer belted out the band’s 1996 smash “Wannabe” during The Late Late Show with James Corden on Wednesday, January 13.
“HUGE Adele fan!! This is GENIUS!!!” Beckham, 41, wrote via Instagram on Friday. “Thank u @adele and @jkcorden #ilovemyspicegirls X posh.”
The mom of four posted a video of Adele, 27, and host James Corden rocking out, and included a British flag and microphone emoji.
Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell also gave Adele a shout-out. “[Love] this!” Bunton captioned the video via Twitter on Thursday. Halliwell added: “Ahh Adele we love you.”

Adele has been a huge Spice Girls fan since their debut in 1994. She told Corden that she would have Spice Girls parties and that she was devastated when Halliwell left the band in 1998. “It was a huge moment in my life when they came out. It was girl power, and it was these five ordinary girls who did so well and got out,” she said at the time. “It was a really important period of my life.”
The “Rolling in the Deep” singer also told Us Weekly in June 2011 that the band inspired her to sing and she’s “Geri Halliwell’s number one fan.”
Adele’s repeat-worthy sing-along has already garnered more than 19 million YouTube views. During the rainy ride, she also sang her hits “Someone Like You” and “Hello” and rapped Nicki Minaj‘s part from Kanye West‘s 2010 “Monster.” Like Beckham, Minaj was just as ecstatic about Adele’s sketch.
“Pull thru, QUEEN!!!!! #Adele. #Monster the attitude & fingers to match. #Oh #Ok #IcoNic,” Minaj, 33, shared via Instagram on Thursday.
“Adele is mad ratchet,” she tweeted. “I can’t take her #UK #WutsGood.”
