Peter Weber went on a quest for love during The Bachelor season 24.
After placing third on Hannah Brown’s season 15 of The Bachelorette in 2019, Weber went on to lead season 24 of The Bachelor the following year. During his time with the ABC franchise, he sparked a connection with producer Julie LaPlaca, she revealed in her new book, The Love Producer, out now.
“During our time filming, I didn’t look at Peter romantically. I took my job seriously and focused on delivering the best possible season. I would tell him he looked hot before a date, but it was more in an older-sister-hyping-up-her-younger-brother way,” LaPlaca recalled, noting that she and Weber hooked up after The Bachelor filming wrapped.

What Happened on Peter Weber’s Season of ‘The Bachelor’?
Weber proposed to contestant Hannah Ann Sluss during The Bachelor season 24 finale. However, it was revealed during the live After the Final Rose special that the pair had ended their engagement in January 2020. Weber and runner-up Madison Prewett also admitted to still having feelings for each other, but they decided not to pursue a relationship.
What Is Peter Weber Doing Now?
Following his time on The Bachelor franchise, Weber appeared on The Traitors season 2 in 2024. He was banished in episode 9.
Weber also appeared on the competition series Destination X in 2025.
Outside of reality TV, Weber has continued his career as a pilot for Delta Airlines. He often shares glimpses into his work on his Instagram page.
Is Peter Weber Dating Anyone?
After his split from Sluss, Weber dated fifth place runner-up Kelley Flanagan from May to December 2020 and again from August 2022 to April 2023.
Weber was most recently linked to actress Brook Sill, announcing their romance via Instagram in June 2025. He later revealed that they met after he moved from Los Angeles to New York City.
“I was in New York for the last four years, and I, you know, [ex-girlfriend Kelley Flanagan] and I had gone back on-and-off a little bit during that time, but majority of it was all single, and you know, I always wanted a relationship. It’s no secret, obviously, but you know I was never going to be someone to force anything,” he said on ”The Ben & Ashley I. Almost Famous” podcast.
It’s unclear whether Weber and Sill are still dating. The pair appear to have unfollowed each other on social media and deleted their photos together.
Former ‘Bachelor’ Producer’s Book Details Romance With Peter Weber
LaPlaca shared insight into her fling with Weber in her memoir.
“Peter had a genuine, pure heart that struck me,” she wrote. “I sense that he really did want to find love, get married, and start a family. There was an innocence about him, and his optimism reminded me of myself before my heart had been hurt. His glimmer of excitement was like that of a kid about to enter the candy store, cute and a bit naive. He wanted to have the most beautiful love story the world would ever see and I really hoped we could deliver that for him.”
Recalling their hookups, LaPlaca wrote, “I knew he wasn’t mentally in a place to jump into a relationship. Not after everything with Madison. But I couldn’t help but think about the possibility of whatever was happening.”
Though LaPlaca and Weber ultimately agreed to remain friends, she still “dreamed up ways of how I’d express my love to Peter.”
“Ultimately, I admitted that I loved him, and feared if I didn’t tell him, I would always wonder ‘what if.’ He seemed shocked by the revelation,” she continued.
How Did Peter Weber React to Former ‘Bachelor’ Producer’s Book?
LaPlaca exclusively told Us Weekly that Weber “reacted from a place of fear” when she told him about her book.
“I offered to let him read a copy, and instead he panicked … I hope when he reads it, he sees that it’s coming from the heart,” she shared.
Meanwhile, Weber wrote via Instagram in June 2026, “I’ve moved on from this period of my life and I’m ultimately responsible for my choices,” he wrote, in part. “What I’ll say is this: I asked Julie on multiple occasions to please keep private, intimate details, private. This wasn’t about a TV show anymore.”
