Summer House newbie Bailey Taylor doesn’t think a relationship with Carl Radke would work — despite their “great” kiss during season 10 of the Bravo show.
“I think long-term, it’s not realistic,” Bailey, 31, admitted during Us Weekly’s exclusive clip from the Tuesday, June 16, episode of Amanda Hirsch’s “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast. “We’re very flirty and I adore him. I love him.”
She continued, “I love spending time with him. I talk to him all the time. I talk to him the most [out] of anybody, without a doubt.”
Bailey called Carl, 41, a “special” and “wonderful” person.
“But for someone that’s older and knows what they want, not to want to date someone that’s a shell of a human being when it comes to dating, is not crazy,” Bailey said, referring to her and Carl’s situation.

The duo made out during a full cast dinner on a recent episode of Summer House season 10. Questions about their relationship status continue to swirl, with fans shipping them to become a couple.
However, Bailey’s past relationship trauma is a major roadblock — as is their 10-year age gap. (Bailey revealed on Summer House that her ex broke up with her at Sweetgreen.)
“We’ve hung out a lot and we talk all the time. I’ve expressed my interest,” Bailey explained in Us’ podcast clip. “We’re in very very different places.”
She added, “I still have not dated since my past relationship. It has been almost three years and I still have not had anything that went on more than a few dates or anything bigger than a situationship.”
Bailey explained that she’s “terrified” of a serious relationship.
“I have no idea how it’s gonna go,” she added. “I’m still, kind of, a shell when it comes to dating. We’ve seen my flirting — not good.”

Carl, on the other hand, “knows exactly what he wants,” Bailey continued. (He was previously engaged to costar Lindsay Hubbard but called off their 2023 wedding.)
“He’s ready to settle down, he’s older,” she said. “He is so secure and really has it figured out. I could not be more opposite in the dating zone.”
Questions about what was going on between Carl and Bailey were raised during the extended version of the season 10 reunion, which concluded earlier this month.
“I appreciate your trauma dumping, because I do the same,” Carl told Bailey when discussing their friendship. “I don’t think I was fully clocking the energy toward us until, maybe, the last weekend.”
The full episode of “Not Skinny But Not Fat” drops Tuesday, June 16, on all podcast platforms.
