Crystal New Year's balls are so 2010. On December 31, viewers will have the option of tuning into two drastically different takes on the famed ball drop.

On MTV, comedian Whitney Cummings hosts New Years Bash 2011 with appearances by cast members of Jersey Shore and Pretty Little Liars, plus a performance by Flo Rida. For midnight, Snooki will be (gently) lowered in a ball. The drop, however, will not take place in Times Square as previously planned, but at the Jersey Shore (natch). Tune in to MTV beginning at 10:30 p.m. ET.
Over on Bravo, Watch What Happens Live's Andy Cohen throws its first ever new year's bash with a "wig drop" at midnight. The show includes appearances by Sandra Bernhard, Kristen Wiig and Amy Sedaris, plus Housewives Dina Manzo, Tamra Barney and Lisa Vanderpump and Flipping Out's Jeff Lewis and Zoila. And Kim Zolciak stops by for a very special live performance. Tune in to Bravo beginning at 10:30 p.m. ET.

Brandy, Plain White T's, Travie McCoy and David Archuleta will perform on the Nancy O'Dell-hosted New Year's Eve Live. Tune in to Fox beginning at 11 p.m. ET.
