Would the real Jennifer Aniston please stand up? On Saturday, May 4, the famous Friends star was the recipient of an unusual tribute on Saturday Night Live when host Zach Galifianakis called upon his Hangover costars to play contestants in a Jennifer Aniston lookalike competition.
The bearded funnyman, who rocked a black Friends T-shirt and patterned mini skirt, didn't seem too pleased when "Radley Cooper" and "Ted Pelms" showed up in less than exemplary Aniston wear, however. The two men, who wore a combination of black-and-denim outfits (all three donned long blonde wigs a la the Wanderlust actress' famous tresses), were animated onstage, but Galifianakis was stern and disgruntled.
"They're not even wearing Friends T-shirts!" the actor, who played a disgruntled repeat Aniston impersonator in the skit, yelled angrily.
Series regulars Nasim Pedrad and Taran Killam played fellow contestants for the competition, and both dismissed Galifianakis' outburst.
"Why would Jennifer Aniston wear a Friends T-shirt?" Pedrad questioned. "Yeah, it's like the last thing she would ever wear," Killam agreed.
"Why would she wear it?! Oh, I don't know, because she got it for free at work!" Galifianakis retorted.
The men closed off the skit with a rousing rendition of Dionne Warwick's "That's What Friends Are For," which several other "contestants" in the competition believed to be the 90s show's theme song.
The real-life Aniston and Galifianakis have collaborated before, on the comedian's Funny or Die show Between Two Ferns in February 2011, in which he invited the actress to join him on set alongside reality star Tila Tequila.
