Dunham hasn’t responded to Deschanel just yet, but did tweet, “I have no jokes to make. This is an amazing morning.”

She also shared her reaction to being nominated with The New York Times, explaining, “I’m so agog. If my voice sounds weird, it’s because I was literally screaming, all around my house, onto my bed, down the hallway, outside my house, on the phone with everyone I know. I just was doing a big scream-fest.”
