All Things Jerky, which has three locations in the Badger State, wowed many Wisconsinites at a recent state fair with an offering at their booth known as ants on a stick. The “stick” is actually a pretzel rod, but the ants are real and stuck to the pretzel thanks to a coating of marshmallow fluff.

According to a video shared by Food Insider, the pretzel is coated in fluff and rolled in a pile of black and brown ants before being served to customers. “Ants have a tart or sour taste. Some people taste that right away, some people don’t,” owner Jessica Jerky told the outlet. “I think it’s just all a matter of taste buds, but that’s why we put it on the stick with the marshmallow fluff, so it’s sweet, salty and crunchy.”

Even though ants on a stick isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, Jessica said most people “do enjoy it.” However, Twitter was pretty split on this exotic snack. Check out some reactions below:

Believe it or not, the ants on a stick is just the tip of the iceberg for weird foods sold at All Things Jerky. The store offers up “whatever anyone asks for,” Jessica said. Other options include python and moose jerky and a variety of canned bugs. “We always say we have everything Walmart doesn’t have,” she added.
