Soda isn’t the only beverage that comes in a can these days. Over the past several years, canned wine has evolved from a libation you’d hardly consider, to one that deserves a spot in your fridge, and rightfully so.
Not only does canned wine taste just as good as its bottled counterparts, but it’s much simpler to transport, making it easier to sip when you hit the beach, lounge by the pool or simply just don’t feel like reaching for a wine glass.
To celebrate National Wine Day, which falls on Saturday, May 25, Us Weekly has rounded up some of the tastiest canned wines on the market. Though Cupcake Vineyards has been popular with younger drinkers for years, the brand only just released a duo of canned wines in April 2019 – a New Zealand Sauvignon blanc and a rosé from California.
Another newbie in the canned wine game is Rosé All Day Bubbly from Biagio Cru Wines & Spirits. The effervescent drink is a refreshing take on the brand’s increasingly popular still rosé wine, which boasts notes of watermelon and strawberry.
