The Real Housewives of Orange County

The iconic reality series The Real Housewives of Orange County (RHOC) took the drama from scripted hits Desperate Housewives and Peyton Place and brought it to the real world. Inspired by the shows’ portrayal of affluent women in upper-class communities, RHOC was created to document the glamorous lives of the real women brushing elbows with CEOs, professional athletes, moguls and more.

The series premiered on Bravo in March 2006 and starred Kimberly Bryant, Jo De La Rosa, Vicki Gunavalson, Jeana Keough and Lauri Waring Peterson. The explosive success of the show sparked an entire reality TV franchise highlighting women in different cities across the globe.

RHOC aired its 18th season in 2024 and featured cast members Tamra Judge, Shannon Beador, Heather Dubrow, Gina Kirschenheiter, Emily Simpson, Jennifer Pedranti and Katie Ginella.
