Influencer Abby Baffoe ruffled some feathers with her look at the 2026 Masters Tournament — but she’s only reveling in the criticism.
“When you wake up getting canceled for your masters outfit,” Baffoe, 30, wrote on a video shared via TikTok with her 1.4 million followers on Monday, April 13.
The video showed Baffoe walking down the street while giving a peace sign and sticking out her tongue. Baffoe used Miranda Lambert’s song “Only Prettier” as the video’s soundtrack, which was captioned: “Won worst dressed Masters 2026.”
Baffoe wore a vintage Chanel mini dress, white shorts, a white baseball hat and a sweater draped over her shoulders to the prestigious golf tournament over the weekend, which is notoriously steeped in tradition.
“I’ll be dreaming of pimento cheese & peach ice cream sandwiches 🥪🍑⛳️🏌️,” Baffoe wrote via Instagram, showing off her outfit.
While the Masters Tournament does not have an official dress code, most patrons typically dress in more traditional golf attire. Critics of Baffoe’s ensemble had no problem airing their grievances in her comments section.
“Your whole generation thinks that everything they do is right. This is wrong,” one person commented on Baffoe’s Instagram post. “Respect where you are. Understand traditions not the latest trend. And trust me. Everything does not have to have a logo on it.”
Another wrote, “There is a time and place for certain outfits. Her PR team should have made it clear to curtail to the 90 year tradition as far [as] dress code goes. I mean would she wear this to meet the queen?”

Despite plenty of criticism, Baffoe still had some supporters urging that it wasn’t that serious.
“Oh my gawd people, relax,” one person commented. “It’s still just a sporting event. Look at some of the people sitting along the ropes if you want to see some horrifying attire. sock and birkenstocks, cargo shorts, unflattering shirts, etc. etc. golf is a sport, just enjoy it.”
Baffoe shared a video via TikTok of herself getting ready to attend the Masters, which started with her getting out of bed at 5 a.m. to get prepped.
“The best thing about my outfit today is that I’m wearing a hat,” she said. “We don’t gotta go too hard on the makeup and we don’t gotta go too hard on the hair.”
Baffoe said her entire look was “styled around” the Chanel mini dress, but acknowledged, “It’s extra, extra mini.”
