Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry and his wife, Adrianna Rivas, welcomed their third daughter in January, and it appears the NFL star is ready for a boy.
The couple shared the first photos of their daughter, Monroe, on Monday, April 20, peppering their Instagram pages with photos of her as a newborn. That included photos shared to Henry’s Instagram Story, including one where he joked about being a father to three girls.
“Heaven sent,” he wrote over a photo of him holding Monroe.
He added underneath, “Girl dad… just what we needed. **Jesus send me a boy though.”
Henry, 32, and Rivas are also parents to daughters Valentina, 5, and Celine, 2.
Rivas, for her part, posted a black-and-white photo of herself holding Monroe on the couch.
“Monroe Capri Henry 1/13/26 🤍 MOMMY OF 3 GIRLS HALLELUJAH,” she wrote in the caption.
Henry first revealed that he and Rivas had welcomed a baby girl on Super Bowl media row in February.
“We just had a new baby girl,” he told People at the time. “So my third girl, three girls in a row. I’m a girl dad.”

He added that, as a Kobe Bryant fan, he relates to the late basketball star’s love for his daughters and has embraced the “girl dad” moniker that he coined. (Kobe and his wife, Vanessa Bryant, shared daughters Gianna, Natalia, Bianka and Capri. Kobe and Gianna died in a helicopter crash in 2020.)
Henry also gushed about how much he has loved watching Valentina play sports and can’t wait for Celine to have the same opportunity.
“My 5-year-old, she’s playing basketball now and soccer,” he told People. “So just watching her and watching that competitive spirit grow. Then my 1-year-old, who will be 2 in April, [is] watching her big sister and can’t wait for her time to go play sports.”
Though Henry joked about wanting a boy next, he and Rivas have made their love for their daughters no secret. In addition to the photos he shared of Monroe, Henry also shouted out Celine when she was born, coincidentally on April 22, 2024.
“Celine Amor Henry 4/22/24👑,” he wrote over a photo of himself holding Cleine as a newborn. “P.S. At this very moment , I was telling her that I’m the only MAN that big sister & her will EVER need 💪🏾💪🏾😭.”
More recently, Rivas celebrated Valentina’s fifth birthday in May 2025, sharing a photo of Valentina smiling and holding up five fingers as a floral arrangement in the shape of a 5 stood behind her.
“Our Valentina Allure is 5! 🤍,” she wrote in the caption. “The best days of our lives began with you. I’ll never be able to thank God enough for my Tina. Happy 5th Birthday to my first baby girl, my best friend, and the sweetest big sister ever! You are so loved by so many.”
