Knicks’ Josh Hart Spills Details on Karl-Anthony Towns and Jordyn Woods’ ‘Super Fun’ Wedding (Exclusive)

New York Knicks star Josh Hart has had a summer full of celebrations after he helped lead the franchise to its first NBA title in over 50 years – perhaps none more electric than the wedding of his teammate Karl-Anthony Towns and his new bride, Jordyn Woods, earlier this month

“It was fun, and I think they did a good job of including everybody,” Hart, 31, exclusively told Us while promoting his new ambassadorship with Scouting America.

Towns, 30, and Woods, 28, tied the knot in Malibu on Saturday, August 15, in front of a star-packed guest list that included a bevy of Towns’ teammates and celebrities like Justin and Hailey Bieber, Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner, Ben Stiller, Tracy Morgan and Michael B. Jordan

“They had a little Topps station where you could make your own Topps [trading] cards,” Hart recalled. “After that, they had In-N-Out and Kith Treats [ice cream]. They had hand-rolled cigars, so that was cool. I feel like they really thought of their guests and made it a really fun experience.”

Hart has been married to his wife, Shannon, since August 2021 and the couple share 3-year-old twins boys Hendrix and Haze

Amid all of the chaos and commotion of this year, Josh said having Shannon, 31, by his side has been “extremely important.”

“Especially in times like these, when you’re getting pulled in so many directions, it’s always good to have a good foundation, a sounding voice to always come back to,” Josh said. “It’s been a great time because, you know, the summer is the most time we actually have to hang out and do those kinds of things because obviously we travel so much during the year.”

Away from basketball, Josh has reconnected with his roots as an ambassador for Scouting America. Growing up, Hart was a Scout in Troop 1083 in Rockville, Maryland – but stepped away from scouting for roughly three years after transferring to a new school.

At the age of 16, Josh’s father encouraged him to finish what he started. Just weeks before his 18th birthday, Josh earned the title of Eagle Scout, scouting’s highest honor.

“When something is a big part of your childhood and helps you grow as a young adult and a young man, those lessons get ingrained in you,” Josh explained. “You go through life and all of those things form and mold your character. For me, scouting was huge in terms of leadership, perseverance and resilience.”

He continued, “I take that foundation that it helped build to my time hooping, being a part of a team with the Knicks, and to my own kids.”
