Seattle Storm star Lexie Brown is shutting down rumors that she cheated with Klay Thompson while he was still with Megan Thee Stallion.
“I’ve seen what’s being said online, and I want to be clear, none of it is true, and I have no involvement in this situation,” Brown, 31, wrote via her Instagram Story on Sunday, April 26.
She continued, “This week marks the start of an important and exciting new season for me, and my focus is fully on that.”
Brown’s statement comes shortly after Megan, 31, publicly split with Thompson, 36, accusing him of cheating. Rumors soon began swirling that Brown was “posting on her close friends” messages between her and Thompson in which Thompson allegedly said that he was only dating Megan “for social media.”
The X user who apparently started the chatter has since changed their account to private. They also claimed the pair had just followed each other on social media, though as of Monday, April 27, they do not.

Megan accused Thompson of cheating in a statement to Us Weekly announcing their split on Saturday, April 25.
“I’ve made the decision to end my relationship with Klay,” she shared. “Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there’s no real path forward.”
Megan continued, “I’m taking this time to prioritize myself and move ahead with peace and clarity.”
She expanded via her Instagram Story several hours later.
“Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house… got ‘cold feet,’” Megan wrote. “Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season. Now you don’t know if you can be ‘monogamous’????”
She added, “Bitch I need a REAL break after this one.. bye y’all.”
Thompson has yet to publicly address their split. The pair was first linked in July 2025 before making their red carpet debut later that month at Megan’s Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala.
“Well, it feels incredible because Megan is such a special person and she inspires so many around the world. I’ve seen it firsthand,” Thompson exclusively told Us on the red carpet. “This is just another incredible feat of hers to be able to give back, create [a] foundation and raise a ton of money for those in need. I’m honored to be here by her side.”
The foundation is a nonprofit that supports women, children, seniors and underserved communities in Houston, Texas, where Megan grew up.
Thompson added, “She has never been put in a box, or allowed herself to be in a box, and she just continues to inspire so many people around the world. And, on top of that, raise a ton of money this evening and just do so much for so many in need.”
