The Kansas City Chiefs game against the Los Angeles Chargers turned into an effusive family affair on Sunday, October 18.
Taylor Swift, wife of Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, enthusiastically reacted when she saw her mother-in-law, Donna Kelce, inside a suite at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium during the team’s AFC West battle with the Los Angeles Chargers.
In photos and videos that circulated on social media, Swift, 36, was also seen enjoying the game alongside friends Este Haim and Caitlin Clark.
Swift has attended all three Chiefs home games so far this season, her first since marrying Travis, 37, in July.
The day after the lavish wedding, held at New York City’s Madison Square Garden, Donna, 74, was tight-lipped about details.
“I really can’t say a heck of a lot,” Donna told Macy’s social media team at the time. “It was magical, man, magical.”

After the Chiefs won the AFC Championship in February 2024, Donna updated her Facebook cover photo to a celebratory group photo including Swift.
“That was a picture where all of us were so excited that were in the suite,” Donna told the Today show. “And we were so excited that they made it to the Super Bowl that we just took a shot of everybody that was there. So it wasn’t anything calculating or anything like that. It just was everybody that was supporting my son and I was so happy to put that picture on Facebook.”
In November 2023, Donna told WSJ Magazine that Travis was “happier than I’ve seen him in a long time … God bless him, he shot for the stars!”
As for Swift’s friendship with WNBA superstar Clark, 24, the two previously attended a Chiefs game together in January 2025.
Clark gushed about her fandom of the pop star during an appearance on Travis and older brother Jason Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast earlier that month, revealing that she had already Swift’s “Eras Tour” three times.
“I went early on when Taylor first went on tour in Minnesota at U.S. Bank. One of her early concerts and that was a lot of fun,” Clark told the Kelces. “I went with some of my college friends and we had a good time together.”
Clark explained that she grew up a Chiefs fan, all thanks to her family and Midwest upbringing.
“I had family in Kansas City and I grew up in Des Moines, Iowa, which is only three hours from Kansas City, so that’s the closest NFL team,” she said on the podcast. “My dad was a big Chiefs fan growing up. People think I’m a bandwagon Chiefs fan and I’m like, ‘No! I was there before! Before Patrick [Mahomes] and Travis. We were ride or dies.”
