It’s already over! A dizzying assortment of celebrities stood out with creative and trendy Halloween costumes this year, but as it turns out, it was some of their own kids that really stole the show. See Us Weekly’s picks for the 10 best outfits of the year (in no particular!):
1. Beyonce and Blue Ivy
Smooth criminals! Queen Bey and her adorable 2-year-old baby girl channeled Janet Jackson circa ’89 Rhythm Nation days and her late brother Michael Jackson. The “Drunk in Love” singer gave Blue a kiss on the cheek while attending Power 105.1’s Powerhouse event in NYC on Oct. 31.
2. North West
Surprise! Skunk kid costumes were all the rage this year. Kim Kardashian’s 16-month-old got in on the fun, as well as Kourtney Kardashian’s daughter Penelope, 2. Fergie and Josh Duhamel and Jamie Lynn Sigler also dressed their sons as a mini Pepe Le Pew.
3. Katy Perry
In case she got hungry! The “Roar” singer turned heads in a hilarious Flamin’ Hot Cheeto getup while attending Kate Hudson’s star-studded annual Halloween bash on Oct. 30. She even carried a bag of the comfort food to snack on.
4. Kirk Spahn
Where’d this guy come from!? The CEO of alcoholic beverage company TY KU won Halloween when he showed up to Hudson’s Halloween bash as blue balls.
5. Colton Haynes
The Teen Wolf alum looked unrecognizable while dressed up as Shrek’s princess Fiona for Matthew Morrison’s West Hollywood party. “The most beautiful man in the world…was the most unfortunate looking woman last night. @coltonlhaynes hahahah I love you,” teased Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale via Twitter.
6. Iggy Azalea
Getting the last laugh! The Australian rapper went as Marlon Wayans from White Chicks after being compared to the character by Snoop Dogg earlier this month. “Bye haterzzzzz,” she captioned an Instagram pic. Demi Lovato praised the “Fancy” singer’s outfit while partying at Jennifer Lopez’s Halloween party.
7. Ellen DeGeneres, Meredith Vieira, Ali Wentworth
George Clooney is a lucky guy! The comedian, former Today co-host and actress went as the actor’s new bride, Amal Alamuddin. DeGeneres even considered it her “sexiest” outfit yet.
8. Neil Patrick Harris
Another year, another win! Harris, his husband David Burtka, and the couple’s 4-year-old twins Gideon and Harper wore Gotham-themed Halloween costumes. The Riddler, The Joker, Batman, and Batgirl all took an action shot pose before heading out to trick or treat.
9. Hayden Panettiere
Whoa, baby. The pregnant Nashville actress showed off her growing baby bump in a leopard bikini. “Happy Halloweeeeen!!!!” the mom-to-be tweeted.

Favorite Disney film? Joel Madden’s wife went as Cruella De Vil while the couple’s two children — daughter Harlow, 6, and son Sparrow, 5 — dressed up as two dalmatians.
