Since her breakout role in 1994's Speed, Sandra Bullock's red carpet style has evolved from girl-next-door cute to movie star chic. And it's hard to believe that the stunning star just hit 47, since she looks more radiant than ever. Here, the actress's best hair, makeup and fashion moves.

Go for full-on glamour: A year after Bullock scored an Oscar, she attended the 2011 awards looking every bit the Hollywood A-lister in a scarlet Vera Wang strapless gown and Harry Winston diamonds with her hair swept-back in an elegant bun and classic red lips.

Cut long blunt bangs: Breakover! The actress arrived solo at the 2011 Golden Globes (she had recently split from husband Jesse James), with a dramatic new hairstyle. Her eyebrow-length thick bangs gave her a more youthful, edgy appearance.

Wear something super sexy: In her first live televised appearance since her marriage ended, Bullock smooched Scarlett Johansson on stage at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards while wearing a backless sparkly mini dress. Two months later at the 2010 Teen Choice Awards, she rocked skintight black leather pants.

Work your best feature: When the star picked up an Oscar for the Blind Side in 2010, her best red carpet accessory wasn't the diamond earrings she wore with her shimmering embroidered Marchesa gown. It was her mirror-like mane which she styled sleek and parted to the side.

Switch up your lip color: Unlike some stars in their 40s, Bullock avoids getting stuck in a makeup rut by experimenting with different lipstick hues including the vibrant fuchsia shade she chose for the 2010 Oscars.
