Matching in all-black ensembles, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt stepped out to celebrate the success of Jolie's latest directorial effort, Unbroken, at the American Society of Cinematographers' 2015 Outstanding Achievement Awards in L.A. on Monday, Feb. 16.
Jolie, 39, looked effortlessly chic in a Saint Laurent suit and clutch, paired with golden earrings. The mom of six—Maddox, 13, Pax, 11, Zahara, 10, Shiloh, 8, Vivienne, 6, and Knox, 6—left her long brunette waves naturally tousled, and added only a hint of a smoky eye.
Meanwhile, her husband, Pitt, 51, who stayed by his leading lady's side all night, looked dapper in a velvet-accented Tom Ford tuxedo. He accessorized the piece with a white shirt, black tie, and a pair of thick-rimmed glasses.
Jolie didn't take home the top prize that night—that went to Birdman's Emmanuel Lubezki. Nevertheless, the Maleficent actress does have plenty to be excited about, like the fact the she and her husband may be collaborating once more on her next film, Africa. Last month, The Wrap reported that Pitt is in negotiations to star in his wife's project.
"I've felt a deep connection to Africa and its culture for much of my life," Jolie told Yahoo! News this past September. "[The film's about] a man drawn into the violent conflict with elephant poachers, who emerged with a deeper understanding of man's footprint and a profound sense of responsibility for the world around him."
