Hatha-haters, step back!

Anne Hathaway made a spectacular return to the red carpet at the 28th American Cinematheque Award in Beverly Hills on Tuesday, Oct. 21, and she brought her adorable bob hairstyle with her!

The brunette beauty, who famously buzzed her hair for 2012’s Les Miserables (and picked up an Oscar for it, too!), maintained her lush pixie cut for more than two years. But thanks to her latest appearance, it’s easy to see that Hathaway, 31, is growing the crop out into a bob, one that’s already long enough to style into tousled curls.

For the award ceremony, which honored her Interstellar costar, Matthew McConaughey, the Princess Diaries actress parted the blooming bob deeply. She slicked one side back behind one ear, and left the remaining locks romantically loose and wavy.

And her dress was pretty fabulous, too! Hathaway donned a rope-laced Christopher Kane LBD, a piece she paired with licorice heels and bold, green danglers. A bright poppy statement lip finished the elegant ensemble.

In the November 2014 issue of Harper’s Bazaar, Hathaway talked about the backlash she’s received in recent years, and how she’s ready to move on from it. “People treated me a certain way," she admitted. “But I've grown from it. This whole thing has made me a way more compassionate and loving person. And I don't feel sorry for myself."
