Lyst’s Rainbow Chickens
To answer the high demand for colorful pom-poms à la Fendi’s Karlito key chains, Lyst made this announcement: “We are embarking on a new agricultural breeding project — rearing multicolored silkie chickens, which lay perfect pom poms as eggs.” And don’t worry — the rainbow chickens are getting the top treatment! “The Lyst Silkies roam free across hundreds of acres of British farmland, hand-reared by fashion interns, who massage the hens hourly to promote pom-povulation.” (Cracking up yet?)
Boden Announces “Broden”
Boden is so preppy, it labels itself as “New British” in style. Which made their announcement that they’re launching Broden — the line for men who are “serious about dressing like a boss” — all the more hilarious. Needless to say, the brand hasn’t gone bro just yet, but it is offering an extra 20% off today!

Bloomingdale’s Edible Fragrance
Bloomie’s announced the launch of its Forty Carrots Fragrances that smell (and taste!) like frozen yogurt — in chocolate, mango, coffee and original tart. Although the perfumes are just a prank, there is one sweet perk: Mention Bloomingdale’s April Fools’ prank at Forty Carrots this weekend and get a free topping!
Aerie Man
After Us covered the launch of #AerieMAN last week, the American Eagle Outfitters’ lingerie label announced that the whole campaign is an April Fools parody on its own #AerieReal. But all is not lost: The viral video began an important conversation about body acceptance. Aerie is donating $25,000 to NEDA, a nonprofit that supports those affected by eating disorders, and promises to stop retouching their men beginning with the holiday 2016 season.
EVINE Live Launches Cat Wigs
Purr-fection? EVINE claimed they were launching the Whiskers-n-Wigs line — a collection of wigs for kitties. This isn’t happening, of course, but the photos of kittens in wigs (especially a tiara-topped princess ‘do!) is the gift that keeps on giving.
Benefit’s Miracle Brow Supplement
Benefit teased the You Grow Girl! Supplement via Instagram, with the promise that it would help brows grow 200 percent in three weeks. While this miracle mix has yet to exist (wah!), you can enjoy a free sample of the brand’s Gimme Brow eyebrow gel with any purchase.
