Here comes the … presenter? To present the final award at the 2016 Grammy Awards on Monday, February 15, Beyoncé took the stage in a very special gown.
The “Formation” singer, 34, wowed in the buttoned-up Victorian-inspired dress with flirty sheer panels. Turns out, the embellished piece was actually a wedding dress from designer Inbal Dror’s 2016 collection. Bey rocked the bridal fashion with a pair of diamond-shaped statement earrings by Lorraine Schwartz.
The sexy dress is a marked contrast from the “***Flawless” singer’s military-esque bodysuit she donned during the Super Bowl 50 halftime show.
“Beyonce wanted to pay homage to Michael [Jackson],” her stylist Marni Senofonte told Essence. “She has always said he is her biggest music influence, and Michael’s halftime performance marked a change in global interest for the halftime show.”
