Pregnancy never looked so good!

Blake Lively has yet to experience a style misstep since announcing her pregnancy with husband Ryan Reynolds on Oct. 6. Her latest winning sartorial effort occurred Tuesday, Nov. 4, in New York.

The Gossip Girl alum, 27, ran errands in the bustling city streets, sporting a $1,350 black and red Pendleton wool trench cloak with large bell sleeves by Lindsey Thornburg, which is sold on her lifestyle website Preserve.us.

The amazing outerwear item features a horn-toggle closure and deep patch pockets to ensure the mom-to-be was kept warm. Lively rounded out her effortless vibe with black skinny jeans, suede knee-high boots, and crimson lipstick.

Cloaks, capes, and all things inspired are having a moment, and its super-flattering look on those expecting is an added bonus. To pull off the trend, which first made a splash thanks to Burberry’s monogram version spotted on celebs like Sarah Jessica Parker and Olivia Palermo, consider wearing it unbuttoned. “That way it has the shawl look rather than looking like you grabbed your throw blanket off your couch before you left the house,” celebrity fashion stylist Natalie Saidi told Us Weekly.
