Julie Sariñana, a.k.a Sincerely Jules, knows a thing or two about getting people to notice her. With her laidback style and stunning pictures, the blogger/influencer certainly doesn’t have any trouble racking up likes from her 5 million followers.
While Jules suggests paying more attention to feeling good about yourself than anything else, it’s no doubt that she is a pro at mastering a picture perfect photo opp.
“Everyone is different and I think it’s important to post photos on your Instagram that you love and make you feel confident, rather than worry about getting likes. Find an outfit you feel beautiful in, or a background that you love, because if you are feeling your best it will show through in your photo,” she says.
Another key tip for amping up a look on the ‘Gram or on the streets? Adding a hair accessory! The blogger teamed up with Scünci to release her own hair accessory line earlier this year and recommends adding them in to complete an outfit.
“What I love about hair accessories is that they can really complete any look. If you are wearing something that is a little bit of a statement, you can go for something a little more toned down to keep the look polished. If your look is a little more simple, you can dress it up by choosing more of a statement hair accessory,” she dishes.
Another reason they’re a must-have: They can fix a bad hair day in no time. “If I’m ever feeling like my hair isn’t doing what I want it to, I throw in a fun headband or clip which usually helps.”
This holiday season the influencer can’t get enough of velvet when it comes to adding a special touch to her locks. “I’m really into anything velvet in hair accessories. My collection offers fun velvet headwraps and scrunchies that add a bit of fun to any holiday look,” she says.
As for her everyday hairstyle crush? “I love Jennifer Lopez’s hair, but who doesn’t!? She is a style icon and always keeps her look fresh. Like most girls, I love getting new inspiration from other girls I follow on social media and from my friends.”
