Boyhood's Lorelei Linklater hit the red carpet at the 2015 Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday, Jan. 25, in a lace-trimmed, bell-sleeved gown, proving once and for all that a black dress need not be basic!
The actress, 20, who had a role in her father, Richard Linklater's buzzy, SAG-nominated film, celebrated Boyhood's big night in a Honor dress with old-school details, including bell sleeves so large they completely obscured her arms from the elbow down! White lace, both on the back of the dress and at the tip of each sleeve, also added to the vintage feel of the frock.
Her beauty look was bold, too! Linklater modeled a blue-tipped bouncy ponytail, long, lush curls that framed her face, and a bright red statement lip.
One fan of the complete ensemble? Boyhood's boy, Ellar Coltrane, who, after spotting his costar on the red carpet, told E! host Ross Mathews, "She looks gorgeous."
Linklater, Coltrane, and the entire Boyhood cast are nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.
