Boy Beckham no longer! Victoria and David Beckham‘s oldest son Brooklyn makes his modeling debut on the cover of Man About Town magazine’s Spring/Summer 2014 issue, reaffirming that good genes come naturally to the Beckham brood.

On the cover, Brooklyn, 15, looks proper, yet edgy in a crisp white oxford shirt and striped maroon tie, paired with a black bomber jacket. The teen gives the camera a smoldering stare, while bearing a striking resemblance to his good-looking soccer star dad, 38. His pouty expressions in accompanying pics, however, mimic his elegant fashion designer mum, 39.

In one, Beckham wears a bumblebee-striped tank that reveals his athletic arms. Similar to the cover shot, the teen glowers and gives the camera an intimidatingly cool stare-down. “We could not have wished for a stronger subject than Brooklyn to bring this story to life,” Man About Town Editor-in-Chief Ben Reardon gushed to Us Weekly, Monday, March 31. “He was a diligent, relaxed cover star for his first ever fashion shoot.”

Reardon added that the young Brit’s first modeling gig was part of a “20-page fashion story celebrating teenage style.” The photos were taken by Alasdair McLellan, who’s worked with both Victoria and David on their respective fashion projects in the past.

Other black-and-white shots reveal Brooklyn biting a pen in a messy bedroom setting with his tussled locks on display. In another, he’s photographed leaning against a poster-covered wall — like most teens, with headphones wrapped around his neck.

“The story was a genuine pleasure for all involved,” Reardon said of the cover shoot. “Brooklyn was a true professional and had a keen eye in the styling process, collaborating on selections from designers including Ralph Lauren, Saint Laurent and Supreme.” The editor observed, “It is clear that he is becoming a credit to the family name, not only possibly the most famous in the world but one with a wealth of heavyweight fashion influence behind it.”

Brooklyn, a burgeoning soccer player, has been training with his dad’s former club Manchester United since last fall — although, he wasn’t the first Beckham kid to tackle a professional modeling gig. Younger brother Romeo, 11, flaunted his equally-impressive modeling chops for Burberry’s Spring 2013 ad campaign last year. (In addition to their two oldest sons, Victoria and David are proud parents to Cruz, 9, and daughter Harper, 2.)

Brooklyn’s Man About Town issue hits stands on April 4. Tell Us: what do you think of his modeling debut?
