The supermodel celebrated her 61st birthday earlier this month and shared photos from her cake-filled celebration and outdoor jaunts. Decades after she first posed for professional photos, Brinkley looks as gorgeous as ever.
The Michigan-raised stunner — who graced covers of national magazines and starred in coveted ad campaigns — is in an exciting phase of her career, as she recently announced the launch of her cosmetic line Christie Brinkley Authentic Skincare.
When she's not developing the products, Brinkley is spending time at her home in the Hamptons and with her family. Brinkley, who frequently shares pictures via Instagram of her adventures, is the mother to three children and was married four times. She and second husband Billy Joel welcomed daughter Alexa Ray in 1985, and she went on to add to her family with the births of son Jack Paris and daughter Sailor Lee from her fourth marriage to Peter Cook.
"I'm amazed at how lucky I've been," Brinkley told The Telegraph in 2011. "I'm born in the middle of the baby-boom era. We're the generation that says 60 is the new 30. We don't let the numbers shape us; we're reshaping the numbers."
