Cindy Crawford is getting better with time!
The legendary supermodel, 48, blows the competition away in a riveting old school-themed photo shoot for Violet Grey magazine.
In the accompanying interview, Crawford shared her plans to celebrate her 50th birthday by creating a Rizzoli book of photos and essays, detailing all the experiences she’s had throughout her modeling career.
“I thought that writing a book, compiling photos and writing essays about my experiences might be an interesting way to turn 50,” Crawford told the magazine.
Crawford also shared her secret for her ageless beauty.
“The secret is that there is no secret,” she told the magazine. “Do all the stuff we know: Don’t smoke, get enough sleep, drink plenty of water, find what makes you happy.”
Crawford shared a Flipagram video of the shoot with her followers on Instagram.
With hair by celebrity stylist Serge Normant, the cover girl displays her modeling chops in a series of looks on a movie studio back lot. In one shot, Crawford's signature golden waves shine in the light as she leans out the window of a car.
Knowing fans would want to get her sultry hairstyle, Normant shows Us how to get those iconic Cindy waves in a few steps.
For the model’s healthy-looking mane, Normant applied Serge Normant Meta Lush Volumizer to her damp locks while blow-drying the strands with a medium-sized round brush. He then added texture and lift with the Serge Norman Meta Revive Dry Shampoo. Next, he curled the hair with a 1.25-inch iron and created a pin curl to hold the hair in place. After the hair cooled, Normant released the pins and softly brushed through the curls, and applied a few drops of the Serge Normant Meta Sheer Finishing Oil for shine.
