Giving Us a sneak peek! When Carrie Underwood hosts the CMA Awards, she does not come to play. The 2016 ceremony, which marks her ninth time cohosting with Brad Paisley, is no exception. Underwood Instagrammed some of her glittering looks ahead of the show, airing Wednesday, November 2, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.

In an October 30 Instagram post, the “Before He Cheats” singer, 33, hinted that her clothing choices span the decades in honor of the show’s 50th anniversary. “Sneak peek at my decade-inspired wardrobe for the #CMAawards50 #70s #fringe #Gold #CarrieByTheDecades,” she captioned for her 4.8 million followers.

The next picture, posted on October 31, showed a pink beaded bloom with a pearl in the center and green, sequined details for leaves. “Welcome to the #60s everyone!” the American Idol alum wrote of the #vintagestyle.

A November 1 upload showed Underwood’s darker side, thanks to a black and purple beaded bit of material. “It’s the #80s baby!” she explained.

And her ’90s-inspired look is sure to be fiery, as she posted a “#reddress” sprinkled with sequins on November 1.

For a nod to the early 2000s, Underwood will tap into her animal instinct. She also posted a piece of a leopard-print number on November 1, asking her followers to guess who it’s inspired by. Many guessed Shania Twain, who won Entertainer of the Year in 1999.

Like her ’70s-inspired ensemble, her final decade look also went for the gold. “Representing today!” she wrote of the glistening number. “The great thing about Country Music fashion is that #fringe works in any era! ❤️”
