CMAs 2016: What Time Do the Country Music Association Awards Start?

Calling all country music fans! The 2016 Country Music Association Awards will air live on ABC from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Wednesday, November 2, at 8 p.m. ET.

Cable subscribers can also stream the event on ABC.com or on the ABC app. The CMA Awards All Access Show, which gives fans a behind-the-scenes look at the red carpet, will be broadcast on ABC’s Facebook page starting at 5:30 p.m. ET.

Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley will host the evening for the ninth consecutive year. Plus, they’ll both be taking the stage to perform, along with 33 other announced artists, including Tim McGraw, Dierks Bentley, Little Big Town, Kelsea Ballerini, Jason Aldean and Miranda Lambert.

Since this is one of country music’s most important nights, the show will be packed with fan favorites. The five artists up for the night’s biggest award, Entertainer of the Year, are Garth Brooks, Luke Bryan, Chris Stapleton, Underwood and Keith Urban.

A-list names in Hollywood and the sports world will be there too! Some of the presenters include Jennifer Garner, Matthew McConaughey and the Final Five gymnasts, Simone Biles, Gabby Douglas, Laurie Hernandez, Madison Kocian and Aly Raisman

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the awards show this year, 30 country superstars recorded a special song, titled “Forever Country: The Artists of Then, Now, and Forever,” which was a mashup of John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads,” Willie Nelson’s “On the Road Again” and Dolly Parton’s “I Will Always Love You.”
