New year, new makeup line! Demi Lovato and NYC New York Color announced on Tuesday, January 12, that the “Confident” singer will launch her first ever makeup line with the beauty brand. And the sweetest part of the news? She’s naming it after her fans — Lovatics.
This is Lovato’s second year as an NYC New York Color brand ambassador, but her first foray into cosmetics creation. “I am so excited to share my first makeup line with NYC New York Color. The Lovatics collection is a true representation of my bold style and provides endless opportunities to rock your own individuality,” she says of the collab.
The Disney alum, 23, who’s known her #nomakeupmonday selfies, also has a line of skincare products, called Devonne by Demi, so this was a natural step in her progressing beauty career.
The new eight-piece Lovatics line (available now at Target and Walmart) includes a 12-color nude eyeshadow palette, a lip and cheek tint, mascara and brow liner — all retailing for $5 or less. When asked which of the products is her fave, Lovato answered, “One of my personal favorites, the Palette Eyeshadow, is a must-have that allows you to create your own unique look.”
