Peace-out, blondie!

When Diane Kruger arrived on the red carpet at the 2015 Critics' Choice Awards at the Hollywood Palladium on Thursday, Jan. 15, she had more than a lovely dress to flaunt: She also rocked a brand-new hair color!

A natural blonde, Joshua Jackson's longtime partner, 38, debuted strawberry blonde tresses, a lovely contrast against her strapless, blue brocade-print Naeem Khan dress. (She teamed the style with an Amanda Wakeley box clutch and Repossi jewels.) The Chanel muse also seemed to snip a few inches at the salon, bringing the length right to her shoulders.

Not just experimenting for fun, Kruger revealed via her Instagram page, where she quickly shared a glam red carpet shot from the Critics' Choice, that the glowing hue was for a new role. "And here we go! How do you like my new strawberry hair?! #makingmovies #Sky," she captioned the snap.

Per Deadline Hollywood, Kruger's next project, Sky, is about "a woman's reawakening through her solitary journey through foreign lands," and it will be filmed in the American southwest.
