Daenerys does Dior? Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke is the new face of Dior's Rose des Vents fine jewelry line, the French fashion house announced on Wednesday, Nov. 4.
In her first luxury fashion campaign, Clarke, 29, takes off the grit and grime of her Khaleesi costume in favor of a much more modern, natural look with her rich brown locks, instead of her character's icy platinum braids.
What's more, her face is glowing in minimal eye makeup and a matte red lip for her first ads featuring the long, metallic Rose des Vents necklaces, made of silver, gold, green, and blue stones. The Terminator Genisys actress wears a solid black turtleneck in one photo, to make her baubles stand out, while in the other, she wears only an opened, unbuttoned Oxford shirt with the necklaces against her bare skin. Clarke layers matching bracelets on her wrists to complete her ensemble in the stunning snaps, shot by famed photographer Patrick Demarchelier.
"Demarchelier captures the young actress' natural, timeless beauty — a true reflection of the Rose des Vents stunning line of long and short necklaces in yellow and rose gold, diamonds, white mother-of-pearl, and pink opal," the French brand said in a statement.
The Mother of Dragons is the latest star to join up with the high-fashion brand, which has teamed up with Jennifer Lawrence, Natalie Portman, and Marion Cotillard in the past.
