These days, the only things that are shining brighter than the actual stars are Emma Stone’s hair and makeup. The actress attended the premiere of The Favourite at the London International Film Festival on Thursday, October 18, rocking glossy undone waves with a sweet celestial hair Erica Elizabeth Designs hair accessory that cascaded across the back of her tresses. Together: sumptuous and luxurious, the kind of high-octane glamour that is worth living for.

Luckily for Us, Stone’s stylist Mara Roszak shared her step-by-step tutorial for adding mirror-like bends into the Oscar winner’s hair. And as a bonus, Stone’s makeup artist Rachel Goodwin shared the vampy lip she used for the occasion too.

We’re living in the age of high shine hair and Roszak has just the ticket to nailing the look. She started with towel-damp hair and then used the Joico Color Therapy Restorative Styling Oil to protect the ends of Stone’s hair from brushing, combing and styling. Then, with a medium bore brush, Roszak dried the hair to be as smooth as possible. Next, she took a 1.25″ barrel curling iron to create S waves with care to move the iron up and down for soft curls.

Once the curls were set, the hair pro brushed them through using a metal bristle Sheila Stotts brush, misting with the Joico Rose Gold Temporary Shimmer spray as she went for even more sheen. She also added the gorgeous bejeweled headpiece to the back of the crown of Stone’s head (as opposed to wearing it like a traditional headband), adding a touch of vintage of glamour to the look.

The piece in question: Erica Elizabeth Designs $410 “Star Kissed”  bridal headband, which was placed to look like a burst of shooting stars amongst Stone’s glossy stands.

To finish: Joico Flip Turn spritzed all over, with a touch of JoiGel Firm on a rattail comb to smooth down loose hairs on the hairline.

Then Stone’s makeup pro, Rachel Goodwin, slicked on Dior Rouge Dior Felt Pen Ink Lip Liner in Radical paired with Surratt Beauty Lip Lustre in Tres Chic. Et voila! Film premiere glamour with all of the shine a star could desire!
