Frances Bean Cobain and her mom, Courtney Love, made a rare appearance together in public at a Women in Creativity event in London on Monday, March 21. And they even coordinated their outfits!
Love, 51, dressed up for the occasion in a cream lace blouse that she paired with a high-waisted pencil skirt, tights, a metallic clutch and black pumps.
“Back in London, always feels like home,” Love tweeted that day.
Cobain, 23, also wore black and white, though she skewed to the casual end of the spectrum. The visual artist, who secretly wed her longtime boyfriend Isaiah Silva in September 2015, donned a flowy tie blouse (left untied) with black leggings featuring a sheer, zigzag side panel. Cobain accessorized with an embroidered handbag and black leather bracelets and finished off the look with brown calf-length booties.
Though the mother-daughter pair have been known to feud in the past, they reconciled recently to honor Frances’ father, Kurt Cobain, with various upcoming projects.
The Hole rocker shared a particularly emotional throwback photo of the late Nirvana frontman, who committed suicide in 1994 at the age of 27, in a Santa suit during the holidays. “Merry Christmas Kurt, the greatest true love I’ve ever experienced in my life,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “You gave me the gift that makes life worth living, our incredibly talented, loving, beautiful and gifted daughter.”
