Now that the dust from the dressing-down of dresses has settled, it’s time for beauty talk! Us Weekly‘s beauty director Gwen Flamberg shares a few of her favorite looks from the Feb. 10 Grammys red carpet. Not only are the looks on-trend, but they’re also easy to re-create at home. Happy copying!
Best Updo: Taylor Swift
“The bangs and the milkbraid give this updo a hit of boho-chic cool,” says Flamberg. Tip: Use a little dry shampoo to add texture and to ensure it holds better and longer.
Best Eyes: Jennifer Lopez
“The Cleopatra-inspired lined lids are everything! Her makeup pro, Mary Phillips, tells Us she used L’Oreal Infallible Liner to create the look.” Tip: Start top and bottom lines from the inside of the eyes.
Best Lips: Alexa Chung
“Leave it to Alexa Chung to rock euro-glam orange-red lips and little other makeup.” Tip: Line the entire lip and fill in with liner before applying actual lip color. Liner should either be the same shade as the lipstick or the same color as your lips.
Best Manicure: Miranda Lambert
“Loved the cute design and wearable length — everyone else wore daggers!” Tip: If you can’t get a gel manicure, you can use a nail art pen to get the look (Sally Hansen makes a great one).
Best Overall Look: Rihanna
“RiRi killed it! Those flowing waves and that scarlet pout evoked old-school Hollywood glam in the best possible way.” Tip: Use a 1-inch barrel curllng iron to create soft waves.
